pinta solution: Develop a custom density, ultra-soft ether (EO15) foam in black to meet customer requirements for a soft-to-the-touch, yet firm-for-impact cushion.
• Molded foam follows face contours, making a more comfortable cushion than cut foam.
• Open cell, lightweight foam for added comfort.
• Bonus brand recognition with company logo molded into foam.

Customer need: To eliminate costly and complicated hand-sewing in the manufacture of a child car seat.
pinta solution: Fashion a single-piece cushion out of a piece of foam and fabric laminated together. With differing amounts of give and stretch, the foam and fabric laminate required extensive testing and prototyping to create a wrinkle-free solution. Ultimately, a thermoprocess was used to match the foam's shape to the seat.
